He'd been planning on going out for some coffee and breakfast for Sam and Haley, but he figures he can change his plans after such a sweet request. As long as coffee and breakfast are still part of the plan, Sam can fend for himself. It'd be like a date - just him and Hay on their own for a change not hunting monsters.
