He points them in the direction of the nearest diner, and once they're on the road, he turns to her.

"So what brought this on?" he asks. Not that he minds, of course, but he's still curious about her motivations. He's never had anyone other Sam hang around him for any length of time. It took him so long to trust she'd stay, that now that he's pretty sure he's not just going to wake up from this dream, all he wants to do is know her better.
