Dean hears her well before she's beside him, his spidey-sense a skill he's developed over the years to keep him and his brother safe. He reaches up to touch her arm, closing his eyes and groaning gratefully as she tends his sore muscles.

"You got it, Hay." He looks up at her, smiling. "I'm a terrific teacher, you know." And it wasn't a complete exaggeration - he'd taught Sam and a few others the basics. Sometimes he did lack patience, but he figured he'd be able to keep his temper in check for Haley.
