Dean doesn't waste time with the bill. He just tosses enough to cover their order with a generous tip on the table and allows himself to be dragged out the door. Unable to help himself, he sends a cheeky wink at one of the harried husbands watching him them with envy.

Before she can let herself into the passenger seat, her turns her around to face him and kisses her properly. When he parts from their kiss, he keeps her close, smiling down at her. He looks undeniably lighter than normal, his eyes bright with lust, his smile easy. For once, thoughts of all they have to deal with on a regular basis are a million miles from their bright, sunny breakfast date.

"You taste like chocolate."
